In her quest to explore areas for organic production, Carolina Sánchez, owner and co-founder of Shanantina, came across a product that caught her attention: sacha inchi. Signs in different plots constantly repeated that name, piquing her curiosity and leading her to discover the potential of the well-known «Inca Peanut.» With unwavering determination to learn more about this crop, Carolina and her team settled in Lamas, San Martin, where they rooted their dreams and began building the foundations of what is now Shanantina.
