The decision to leave home isn’t easy. Venezuelans arrive in Peru after travelling across Colombia and Ecuador, with fragmented families and limited economic resources. They encounter possible dangers and deprivations, but also opportunities and solidarity along the way. When they settle in, they face a new reality, far removed from that of the average Peruvian family. Peru faces the challenge of welcoming them, guaranteeing their rights, respecting their culture and promoting their inclusion, thereby contributing to a more inclusive country for all.
